Job Description

Reorganisation Services provides assistance and advice to under-performing, financially distressed or insolvent businesses and/or their stakeholders. This may take the form of working with stakeholders or acting in a formal role such as Administrators. You can be sure of high-quality work and a great deal of variety in this fast-expanding service line. Many projects may be high-profile stories in the financial pages of the newspapers. Graduates joining Reorganisation Services will study for ACA/CA qualification.

You will have the opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of our work, including Complex Financial Restructurings, Business Recovery and Insolvency work.

On insolvency appointments, we are generally responsible for running a business for a short period whilst steps are taken to formulate a rescue plan - this will often involve a period of hands on trading and ultimately a sale/transition of the business. At an early stage, you may become actively involved in the 'on site' trading of a distressed company working closely with company personnel, making decisions in a challenging environment and assisting senior management in negotiations with key customers and suppliers. Where appropriate, graduates may also become involved in assisting senior management with the sale of the business.

Examples of our recent insolvency work include retailers, football clubs and manufacturing businesses.

On the Advisory and Investigation side, graduates will form part of a team working on a co-operative basis with all the stakeholders of an under-performing business. Person requirements

GCSE Grades An A or B in Maths and an A - C in English from the 1st sitting. A Level grades 320 UCAS Tariff points or above. Degree level A minimum of a 2:1 or a First grade, in your first degree in ANY discipline.
