Senior Business Analyst Required to manage the analysis, development, production and maintenance of the relevant Asset Protection Scheme reports for the Business Banking portfolio.

Senior Business Analyst – Edinburgh:

Purpose of the role - how it adds value

• Manage the analysis, development, production and maintenance of the relevant Asset Protection Scheme reports for the Business Banking portfolio.

• Work with key stakeholders across Corporate Banking Risk and the wider APS Project team to ensure the robustness, accuracy and timeliness of APS reports.

• Represent Corporate Banking Risk at APS Project team forums and workshops, participating as stakeholder/subject matter expert on APS matters for Business Banking portfolio and data.

Deliverables: criteria/results by which success can be measured

• Lead the analysis, design, implementation and monitoring of Business Banking APS reports.

• Represent and promote Corporate Banking Risk at meetings, resulting in strong feedback & support from other parties and identifying opportunities for development.

• Arrange for regular Executive level sign off for Business Banking APS reports.

• Always looks beyond the accepted ways of doing things and uses the output to develop creative and practical business solutions.

• Manage staff and other resources as required to achieve delivery of projects/tasks

• Assist in developing the skills and effectiveness of the team

• Communicate work with customers and affected parties in a way that maximises their participation.

• Successfully manage multiple and varied tasks/projects simultaneously achieving the agreed milestones and targets.

• Supporting colleagues in meeting their objectives to promote investment in people.

Technical Knowledge:

• Proficient in SAS (within a financial services organisation).

• Excellent PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project).

• Good knowledge of Technology based bank systems.
